Proposition 1 – Water Recycling

Summary
The purpose of the funding is to provide technical and financial assistance to local agencies for the construction of water recycling projects that promote the beneficial use of treated municipal wastewater in order to augment fresh water supplies in California.
Eligibility
Nonprofit; Public Agency; Tribal Government | Local public agencies, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations qualified to do business in California, Public Utilities, Federally and non-federally recognized Native American tribes on the Native American Heritage Commission’s list, and Mutual water companies. | All community types are eligible for funding. This includes small and large communities, non-disadvantaged, disadvantaged, and severely disadvantaged communities.
