Summary
CalRecycle provides the Tire Incentive Grant to: Divert waste tires from landfill disposal.Prevent illegal tire dumping that harms the environment.Promote markets for recycled-content tire products.
Eligibility
Business | Manufacturers producing or will produce an eligible product. Waste tire processors who also manufacture an eligible product.Manufacturers of devulcanized crumb rubber.Rubber compounders.Manufacturers of calendered rubber sheeting products.Manufacturers that produce products on a contract basis for other companies, as long as they have the other company’s written permission to produce an eligible product and receive the incentive. | Private entities, both for profit and nonprofit, must be authorized to conduct business in the State of California.
