The Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program (SPP) that helps support the acquisition and development of new parks and the renovation or expansion of existing parks in critically underserved and climate-vulnerable communities. Eligibility
Nonprofit; Public Agency | Cities Counties District Joint Powers Authorities (one agency of the Joint Powers Authorities must be either an eligible district, city, or county) Nonprofit with 501(c)(3) Status | Statewide. The project site half-mile radius has either: • A ratio of less than three acres of parkland per 1,000 RESIDENTS, OR • A median household income that is less than 80% of the California median household income, OR • Project is within proximity to a climate vulnerability(ies) APPLICANTS should check eligibility with the Community FactFinder available under Community FactFinder Resources at www.parks.ca.gov/spp.
