Summary
The goal of the Senate Bill 1 Sea Level Rise Adaptation Planning Grant Program (SB 1 Grant Program) is to support the implementation of SB 1 (Atkins, 2021) for local, regional, and tribal governments. Ultimately, the SB 1 Grant Program aims to provide funding for coastal communities to develop consistent sea level rise (SLR) adaptation plans and projects to build resilience to SLR along the entire coast of California and San Francisco Bay.
Eligibility
Business; Nonprofit; Public Agency; Tribal Government | Applicants that are eligible to apply for this SB 1 Grant Program opportunity consist of local governments, regional governments, and federally recognized tribal governments. Organizations or consultants who apply on a government’s behalf may be considered, however, explicit support and collaboration between the organization and government must be provided within the application (via Letter of Support).
